Plenty of big European clubs are interested in Palmeiras prospect Endrick, and he has proven why after becoming the youngest player ever to score for the Brazilian club’s first team.

Arsenal, , Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, among others, have been linked with the teenager, who scored for Brazil Under-16s against England Under-16s earlier this year.

Endrick showed why he is being talked about so widely on Tuesday when, at just 16 years, three months, four days, he became the youngest ever goal-scorer for Palmeiras.

The teenager came off the bench at half-time against Athletico Paranaense with his side 1-0 down, but scored twice to help Palmeiras to a 3-1 victory in Curitiba.

There will likely be moves for Endrick when he turns 18 in the summer of 2024, but he will not be cheap as he agreed a contract with Palmeiras earlier this year which included a €60m (£52m) release clause and runs until 2025.

Spanish publication report that it is Paris Saint-Germain, not Barcelona, leading the chase for the hot prospect, with the Catalan club not able to compete financially with the French champions.

While £52m would be a huge amount to pay for a teenager, it would not seem to be an amount out of reach for any of Europe’s top clubs, if they do see Endrick as one of the top talents in world football.
