and both scored hat-tricks in an incredible Manchester derby as City beat United 6-3 at the Etihad.
Despite conceding six, the scoreline was pretty flattering to the Red Devils, who scored their first when they were already four goals behind, while Anthony Martial came off the bench to score two more consolation goals.
Haaland and Foden were the stars of the show, with the Norwegian continuing his immense record since arriving in the Premier League over the summer and Foden relishing in his new relationship with the striker.
The centre-forward has now scored 14 goals in just eight Premier League appearances and while he tried to downplay the achievements a bit, he sounds thrilled to be part of a rampant City team.
‘Not bad,’ said Haaland of the game. ‘We scored six goals, what can you say? It’s amazing, win at home, score six goals, it’s nice!
‘You can feel it all the time, you see the passes we give each other. We always want to go forward, we always want to attack. This is what I love about the team, we always want to go and to attack. It’s amazing, there’s nothing more to say.’
Foden took his own tally to five Premier League goals for the campaign so far, well on his way to beating his best tally of nine over a season.
He is loving his link-up with Haaland and how quickly they have built up a winning relationship.
‘Me and Erling’s built that connection now, we’re finding each other. It’s been a pleasure to be a part of the team,’ said the England international.
‘Our determination from kick-off, we were looking right at it and we finished our chances.’
