are considering a move for Stuggart striker Sasa Kalajdzic in the event that is granted his wish of leaving Old Trafford.

The 37-year-old starts for the Red Devils at Old Trafford today in a friendly against Ray Vallecano, which will be his first minutes of .

He remains intent on leaving the club and reitterated as much in a meeting with the club’s board on Tuesday when he returned to first team training.

United publicly maintain that Ronaldo is not for sale but behind closed doors Ten Hag and his board accept that there’s little reason in keeping a player that doesn’t want to stay at the club, particularly when he is 37 and earning £500,000-a-week.

The club’s public stance is in part down to their surprise at Ronaldo’s revelation that he wanted to leave the club, with the Portugal captain waiting until late June to inform the club’s board.

They had not expected the forward to hand in a transfer request and Ten Hag had been focused on strengthening other areas of the squad.

However, United have now had time to draw up a list of replacements and the say Kalajdzic is now in the frame.

The Stuggart ace, 6ft9, moved to the Bundesliga club in 2019 and he’s netted 24 times in 59 matches.

Kalajdzic is valued at around £17m by Stuggart and he’d be keen on a move to Old Trafford.
